My heart beats to do truly great work alongside inspired people who find creative solutions to people's problems.

experience

Gun for Hire

Brains on Fire - Greenville, SC - May 2008 - January 2009

I gathered qualitative research, developed strategy, and engineered measurement for branding and word-of-mouth projects. I'm most proud of my work with Fiskars and Best Buy. I also cut my teeth on the foosball table and learned how to make masks in Photoshop.

Head Wakeboard Instructor

Keowee Adventure Center - Lake Keowee, SC - Summer 2007

Cumulatively, I taught over 1000 kids how to wakeboard. I was also responsible for developing operational strategy for the camp (read: herding huge groups of kids into boats) and training other employees to teach wakeboarding.

Naive Intern

BizTrek - Greenville, SC - Summer 2006

As the grunt intern, I was responsible for identifying and researching new business opportunities (I spent a lot of time working on my first impression on the phone). I also researched CRM solutions for small businesses.

Plumber's Apprentice

Corley Professional Services - Greenville, SC - Summer 2004, 2005

I apprenticed under a licensed plumber and learned basics of the trade. It was messy sometimes, but I haven't paid to get a toilet repaired since. (And neither have my parents.)
